Finally game day! Been really looking forward for these two awesome matchups…couldn’t have asked for better games. In the first game we have the Rams visiting the Saints. I’m a Falcons fan so you can probably guess who I’ll be cheering for in this one. Let’s go Rams! After watching the Saints play last week vs Philly I really think they are beatable today in the dome. If the Rams can avoid mistakes and that defense plays like they can this team is heading to Atlanta for the Super Bowl. They are currently sitting at +3 so obviously I like that line, as far as the total it’s sitting at 56.5 and I find that high for this matchup so I will be on the under. So far I have the under 56.5 and I also teased the Rams with the under. All bets aside this should be a hard fought game and could come down to the last minutes.
The second game is the Pats visiting the Chiefs. I will be pulling for the favourite in this one. We all know the Pats are not the same team on the road. I think the Chiefs are getting this done at home and Mahomes will be going to his first Super Bowl. I know it will be cold and all week I saw the stats on how Mahomes and the Chiefs struggle in the cold but not today. I’m not saying the Chiefs will blow them out, will probably be a close one but the Chiefs simply have too many weapons for this Pats defense. I won’t be touching the side straight up but I will be teasing the Chiefs with the over. The total is set at 56.5 in this game and I think it goes over, even in this weather. The Chiefs will score at ease against this defense and the Pats will put up their share of points against a weak KC defense. I’m also adding a teaser with all four, the Chiefs and the over and the Rams and the under.
It’s snowing and cold where I live so I plan on locking myself up in my house and not move from 3h to 11h, except to grab beers from the fridge and cook up some wings in between both games. My bets are locked, my fridge is stocked and I am ready for the show. Enjoy the games!
The 1st major of the year in Tennis is under way and the Aussie open is always a good one. This time of year always feels like we haven’t seen tennis in a while so it’s always nice to have it back. I like to watch tennis especially when we have some good Canadians trying to make some runs at the title. This year in the men’s draw we have Raonic and Shapovalov, I’m starting to lose faith in Raonic he never seems to get over the hump, win those big games when he needs to. But Shapovalov he’s a different story, really hoping this year he explodes and plays up to his potential, this kid has what it takes and I really expect him to keep climbing up those rankings. Maybe wont be winning a major this year but wouldn’t be surprise seeing him winning a tournament or two. On the ladies side we have Bouchard and Andreescu. I’m expecting another 1st round or 2nd round exit from Bouchard and then she can go all over social media and share her cute little pictures. As for Andreescu I don’t have high expectations but she is coming in with some nice momentum after her recent run at the ASB Classic. Looking forward to seeing what she can do here, we really need someone to step it up on the ladies side so Canadians can have something to look forward too this year in the WTA. Really looking forward to some late nights and early mornings tennis action for the next two weeks. Enjoy!
Saturday is finally here so it’s time to enjoy some good football. Two games going down today and will be two very good ones. Haven’ thad much line movement throughout the week as far as sides and totals for these games. For the first game I’m staying away from the side but I really like that over 56.5. It wouldn’t surprise me seeing the Colts win outright and if they do there will be a lots of scoring involved. As far as the second game goes I’m expecting an easy Rams victory over these over rated Cowboys (was never a fan) so I love that Rams -7. I am going with those two plays as well as a teaser with both, I love that teaser today! Enjoy the games.
Entered a fantasy line up for this weekends games on yahoo. Always interesting playing fantasy in football when it’s down to only 4 games….here’s what my line up looks like : QB – Rivers, RB – Ingram, Mack, WR – Hill, Thomas, Inman, TE – Gronk, Flex – White, Def – Chargers.
Saturday is always a good day in the NHL. Tons of games and tonight and my Leafs are facing the Bruins in Toronto, which is always a hell of a game. Was hoping to get Anderson back for this one but doesn’t seem like he will make his return in this one. Hutchinson should be between the pipes tonight against Rask. I’m expecting the Leafs to show up for this one in front of their fans and really hoping to lay a beat down on these Bruins. Should see some scoring in this one so that over 6.5 looks pretty good. As far as the side is concern Leafs are sitting at -135 and I will for sure take that especially since this game is in TO. Will definitly have a lot of back and forth channel switching between this game and the Rams game. Grab a cold one and enjoy the action.
We are in for another hell of a football weekend and I love it! Four awesome games, 2 on saturday and 2 on sunday and every single one of them should be good ones. Things will start off saturday at 4h35 with the Colts visiting the Chiefs. Finally gonna see what Mahomes is made of and if he can handle the big stage. Young QBs didnt handle it too well last weekend so if that trends contimues Andrew Luck and the Colts might have a shot in this one. Colts are currenty 5.5 underdogs and the total is set at 57. I like the over in this one but might try to tease it down with another play, as far as the side goes I might avoid this one. The night cap on saturday will be the Cowboys visiting the Rams. I was never a big Cowboys believer and I still am not and I think the Rams will run away with this one. The Rams are currently sitting at -7 and I think they will cover this with ease, this could actually be a good play to tease with the over of the first game, you could get the Chiefs game over 50 and the Rams pk ….now that looks golden!
Moving on to Sunday we have the first game at 1h and it’s the all mighty Chargers in NE to face off with the Pats. This is it..the game of the weekend for me, the game where we see Tom Brady go down. I said it last weekend this was the year of the Chargers and this is it, I’m not even taking the points (+4) I will be going straight ML on this one. ML currently sitting at +170 gonna get some nice value. These are not the same Pats of years past, their crappy division made them look good this year and they are playing a complete Chargers team on both sides of the ball. The Chargers are getting Hunter Henry back this weekend which will only help out an already solid offence. Really excited for this one. Finally on sunday at 4h30 we have the magical Nick Foles taking on the Saints in NO. I really don’t know what to say about this one, first off I do not like the Saints (I’m a Falcons fan) I would love to see them lose but can Foles really pull another one off? I don’t know I guess we will have to wait and see. Eagles are currently an 8 point underdog so Vegas doesn’t believe in Foles.
I’m gonna keep following these games throughout the rest of the week as well as line movement but I’ll be back on Saturday to let you guys know what I will be going with. Might also throw in a fantasy line up for the weekend just to make things more interesting 🙂
Year in and year out I always find the NHL being one of the hardest sport to bet on, I never really had good luck when it comes to hockey. OK I know betting doesn’t really have anything to do with luck but when it comes to hockey if I need an empty net goal for an over I’m not getting it, if I’m sitting on an under win if theres no more goals they are getting an empty net and I lose…it’s always been the same. One thing I have noticed on twitter a lot of guys have started betting 1st period overs and they seem to do really well. I have actually been pretty successful at hitting a few here and there lately. It’s fun because you only need to wait like 30 minutes to get the results. Certain teams have insane numbers when it comes to 1st period overs, I don’t have the exact numbers but teams like TB, Chicago and SJ have been killing the overs in the 1st period this year. I’ve noticed that for these team these plays have gotten a little juicy lately like for example TB tonight the over 1.5 is -170 at Bet365…but hey you only pay the juice if you lose right? Definitly something to keep an eye on for the rest of the season.
We couldn’t of asked for a better match up in this national championship game. This is the best possible matchup and I can’t wait! Alabama vs Clemson have given us epic games in recent years and this one won’t disappoint. Bama are currently sitting as a -5.5 favourite and I see a lot of good cappers on twitter taking the points on this and some even expecting a Clemson upset. A lot of hype surrounding Clemson QB Trevor Lawrence at only 19 years old he will need to play the game of his life against this Bama defense for the upset to happen. I’m really looking forward to see how he performs on the big stage, some scouts came out today saying he could be one of the best NFL prospects ever to come out of college whenever his college career is over….no pressure kid. I don’t think I’ll be betting this game I’m just gonna sit back and watch it as a fan. Honestly I don’t see Bama losing this game but it could be a close game. Either way it’s a hell of a treat for a monday night game….have a few beers and enjoy the show because you know tomorrow that is what everyone will be talking about.
Well yesterday went pretty much as planned which kind of scares me for today. I am huge on the Chargers today, I do not believe in Lamar Jackson for one second especially not in his first playoff game vs a solid Chargers D. I honestly think this might be the year for the Chargers, it wouldn’t surprise me seeing them going all the way to the SB and your telling I can get them at +3 today? Yes please! I am taking that +3 and also teasing them with the Bears in the 2nd game because although I think the Bears will come away with the win I think it might be a close game and don’t really want to lay -6.5
We should be getting another two good games and I’m really looking forward to it…once again make sure the fridge is stocked with cold beers and get that comfy place on the couch. Enjoy the games.
